Sometimes the word “team” is overlooked in football. After all, it does take 11 players working with each other in order for a team to function properly. And according to Washington head coach Keith Gilbertson after the game, it was a great “team” win for the Huskies over the Stanford Cardinal. Washington defeated Stanford for the 11th straight time at home and improved to 3-1 on the season and got that ever-important first conference win in the books.
